[Ragna can feel his face turning pale when he hears the girl speak. That's not possible. There's no way in hell she could retain any memories of him, so how in the world─

Oh. A misunderstanding. Ragna looks up to the sky as well, blinking in surprise and feeling very, very stupid.]

... Right. 'Course. Rain.

[He shrugs off the last knots of the clothesline, finally getting himself together and stands up, mulling over his options. He's not... sure staying here is such a good idea, but aimlessly wandering around in the rain doesn't sound very appealing, either. He could at least stay for the night to figure out what to do next and leave as soon as possible. A few hours probably won't make much difference.]

Lead the way, Sister.

[If nothing else he's not dumb enough to call her by her name when he's supposed to be a "stranger", so he settles for the next best thing he can think of.]

[ Despite being a little concerned about the stranger's condition (it was impossible to miss how pale his face had become, and, of course, his stupefied expression), Lambda decides that speaking up isn't necessary for the time being—her only reply is a nod before she starts walking back to the church.

It's approximately a minute later when she looks over her shoulder to check Ragna and ask him a simple question. ]

Your name? I'm Lambda.

[ If they exchange names they won't be strangers anymore! ...Well, to be fair, this isn't Lambda's logic. She doesn't believe that this man could do her any harm, though. ]
